School Workshops

Art School Project

The year 2008 began work on a project to provide arts and cultural activities to young people and Puerto Fuy Neltume.

Students at these locations are unlikely to develop after-school activities for a more comprehensive development.

That is why after reviewing several proposals, it was decided to start with music and dance workshop.

The nameof the initiative is "Summer Art School Huilo Huilo" and consists of two summer workshops for one week, free for youth and children in the village of Puerto Fuy and Neltume and surrounding areas.

Pastry and chocolate

These workshops begin fine pastries and chocolates in 2007 and are aimed at children in the first year half.

This activity is framed within the educational and social contribution that the FoundationNo aims, seeks to provide students with a tool to contribute to the household.

Confectionery is an activity of great potential in the food, which allows you to quickly work an important tool, whose benefits can be short-term observers who were trained in this area.

Wood carving workshop

Workshop for high school students by artist carver Dragomir González, ledto provide techniques to understand the local woods and their properties, selection of artistic designs, drawing transposition into the wood and the different methods of cutting and polishing of wood, both for production of two or three dimensions.

Like the other initiatives in workshops, is designed to give the student skills so that it best supports the family economy.

In a second step we developed a workshop aimed at learning carving clothing and rustic furniture.This workshop was led by Gonzalo Ibanez dealer and, as in the first stage, we obtained very good results thanks to the enthusiasm of the trainees.

Material Development and Educational Outreach

Are projects for the dissemination of educational materials to promote interest and knowledge of the Rainforest in our country.

Magical Beings creation and illustration of the Rainforest

Publication of pictures of loved Magic Rainforest designed by illustrator Mary Soledad Castaño.

These magical beings are related to the flora and fauna, and are intended to disclose the value of the place and its elements both children and adults.

Bird primer Huilo Huilo

And illustrated educational material that is intended to instruct on the various species of birds of the rainforest in the southern hemisphere.

Huilo Huilo Symphonies:

Consisting of concerts that take place in Puerto Fuy Neltume since January 2005.In 2006 this activity was sponsored by the Universidad Austral de Chile and the Municipality of Panguipulli, with the participation of the Conservatory Orchestra winds Juan José Castro (Argentina) and the Youth Orchestra of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso.

Music Workshops:

Painting

Huilo Huilo strokes, a deep look to the forest

Understanding art as a higher expression of the spirit, we invited a group of painters who for three years visited the reserve at different seasons to capture in his worksbeauty they wear this magical place.
